The Ad-Hoc of the TBHMUN Staff will challenge delegates by giving them little time to learn about a crisis and by not allowing them to prepare for who they will represent upon arrival in the committee room. This committee will test delegates' creativity, spontaneity, and Model UN skills in a new way.

After suffering a catastrophic defeat in 2024, the Democrats in the United States were left reeling after losing the White House to Donald Trump. As momentum builds towards a new election in 2028, the fundamental question facing the party is: “What is next?” Delegates in this committee will take on the challenge of promoting and winning the hearts and minds of voters through this special Model UN crisis committee that will focus on the real-world mechanics of winning elections through volunteers, ground games, fundraising, social media, news cycles, debates, and more. At the end of the day, it will be up to them to ensure victory for their party and their movement.

The glory of the Crusader era has faded throughout the Western world, but the flame still burns bright in Rhodes. The Knights of St. John stand as a bulwark of Christianity in the “Turkish lake” that is the Mediterranean Sea, standing strong against the ever-growing power of the Ottoman Empire. Constantinople has now fallen and the eyes of the Sultan turn towards Rhodes. The Knights must stand alone for their faith and the survival of Christianity itself.
