April 5, 2035 : United Nations Threatens to Remove Americorp from Security Council

The United Nations has threatened to remove Americorp from its security council under concerns regarding its legitimacy. Many of the other UN member states are reluctant to recognize Americorp as a legitimate government entity. A large faction are especially uncomfortable with the power Americorp has as a member of the “P5,” a group of five especially powerful nations that hold permanent seats on the UNSC and hold veto power over any potential resolutions passed by the council.

This represents the latest blow to Americorp’s foreign relations as they continue to struggle to gain recognition and support from other nations for the new government.
