June 16 2036: Disney Announces Partnership with Blackrock

The Walt Disney company has announced a partnership with Blackrock to build five new residential parks in cities arond America. To accomplish this, Blackrock will be demolishing buildings that currently house over 500,000 families, and building single-family houses starting at $800,000 per home. It is estimated that approximately 65,000 houses will be available by 2038. Many people have expressed serious concerns about this deal, as it will eliminate hundreds of thousands of “low-income” housing options and replace them with expensive housing options that are not affordable for the people who will be displaced.
